Try cutting 100 shapes for the 100th day of school.

All you'll need for our fun 100th-day project is crayons, scissors, glue, and a poster board. Print out the 4 sheets below. Each one is 25 shapes. Color the 100 shapes and cut them out. Now, they are ready to be glued to your poster board. Students can practice grouping the shapes and counting by tens. Don't forget to add your name!

1. Play a game of candy heart bingo.

Have your students create a bingo board. You can use words found on the candy hearts or, for younger students, the candy colors.  Each child will need their bingo board and a box of candy hearts.

Groundhog Day is February 2nd. Check out these fun Groundhog day coloring pages, worksheets and mini books.  Grab your crayons and color Grif the Groundhog! What will Punxsutawney Phil predict?

Coloring Pages are a fun way to teach about the life cycle of a butterfly.

A butterfly lays its egg on the underside of a leaf. We used buttons in shades of green and yellow for our leaf. We added a sparkly little pom pom for our egg.

When the egg hatches a caterpillar emerges. A caterpillar eats and eats! Try adding some real leaves to your coloring page. As soon as a caterpillar is done growing they form themselves into a pupa or chrysalis. A hole punch created perfect circles for our caterpillars.

When the caterpillar is done changing and forming a butterfly emerges from the pupa. It's tme to decorate your butterfly! We purchased these 8 x10 foam glitter sticker sheets from Michael's. Cutting small triangles develops fine motor skills.  Arranging the triangles fosters puzzle and logic development.

Embrace the winter season with these entertaining and educational puzzles. These free printable jigsaw puzzles are great for preschool and elementary school kids. Students will work on cutting out the pieces and putting them back together.

Print your favorite animal puzzle to work on.

Create your own fancy Christmas trees! We used pipe cleaners, pom poms, glitter, and oil pastels to make our trees shine.
